Demi Lovato reveals her dream role is a spot on AMC’s The Walking Dead

Demi Lovato may be a popular musician and actress, but she would love to have a role on the hit AMC zombie survival drama series The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead isn’t known for having many cameos or guest spots from celebrities on their hit AMC zombie drama, but hopefully they can make an exception when it comes to a superfan of the show.

Demi Lovato is a massive fan of the undead show who is also an accomplished actress. She started her career on Barney & Friends and earned the lead in Sonny With A Chance as well as spots on Prison Break, From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Camp Rock, and more.

Recently, Lovato spoke to SiriusXM about her career, personal life, and future. And she revealed that she hopes her future can involve a spot on The Walking Dead. Here is that clip from the official Facebook account of SiriusXM:

The cast and crew of the AMC drama are well aware of Lovato’s love for their program. In fact, the actress was sent a clip featuring actors from the series congratulating her a happy 24th birthday on August 20, 1992.

"“I want to be on The Walking Dead so bad,” she said. “I love The Walking Dead more than you love The Walking Dead. They sent me a fan video saying ‘Happy Birthday, Demi‘ last year and I geeked the F out.”"

Of course, there are always opportunities for new characters to join the show. New groups and characters are introduced often, and many of them don’t last more than a handful of episodes, leaving open an opportunity for Lovato have a chance to appearing.

"“I would totally be a zombie,” she added. “I definitely want to kill zombies, and I want to like run away from them at the same time. Zombies freak me out so running away from them would be really fun.”"

However, that will all likely be up to the showrunner and producers of the hit AMC show. So far, they have been stingy when it comes to celebrities who have wanted to appear on the show, but they have made exceptions for some, such as Anthrax musician Scott Ian.
