A world without Negan

For many fans, trying to imagine The Walking Dead without Negan would be a struggle. Even though he killed some of our favorite characters and has been a jerk to others, his charm and style endear him to fans all around the world.

So, what happens if the Lucille-toting baddie is killed off in season 8? What would that mean for the future of the show and how would the show continue following the removal of such a big character from the source material?

Let’s start this off by saying that I don’t believe Negan is going anywhere anytime soon. He is one of the most popular and marketable characters on the program and eliminating him right now would be a massive mistake.

That said, if it does happen, the show will be okay. In fact, I enjoy the next big baddie from the comics even more than Negan because of how ruthless the individual is and how they don’t hide behind comedy or charm like Negan and The Governor did.

Of course, there would be that crash landing. Negan still has a big following from comic book fans and many viewers tune in to see what the brutally funny man will do each week. But I wouldn’t expect that hangover to last too long, especially with HUGE things on the horizon.
