1) They’re a LITTLE too curious.

Obviously, survival is your number one priority in a zombie apocalypse. Duh.

However, survival requires things, things like food, water, weapons, shelter, people. Most of these things become rather finite once the dead start walking.

So, if you meet strangers, perhaps even acquaintances, who seem a little too curious about where your shelter is, who might be there, what you have for food, water, supplies, and ammo, you have someone you’ll want to be getting away from as soon as possible.

Why? Well, because chances are good, these people aren’t asking you these questions because they want to become your friend; They’re asking you because they’re trying to pump you for information.

As we saw with Dave in Season Two’s “Nebraska”, a smart enough person can get you into what appears to be a normal conversation, but, without realizing it, you’ll start giving away crucial details.

How big is your group? What are they all like? What kind of place are you holed up in? Is it near here? We’re real hungry…you got any food?

These are all simple questions, but, if you answer them, you might be inadvertently telling a hostile whether you have something worth stealing, where your base is and what it looks like, and how capable your group might be at defending it.

If someone starts asking you these sorts of questions, it time to bid your new acquaintance ado.
