#3. Can’t lose you too.

Eric Marshall on Facebook asks: “I want to be a zombie, so how can I get that done?”

Being a walker isn’t easy. Not only does it take some solid acting and voice skills, but AMC likes to have their walkers have unique looks and physical shapes when choosing who will play members of the undead.

Still, it’s best to watch for casting calls in the Atlanta area. Auditioning for anything having to do with The Walking Dead is a major way to get your foot in the door, and then expressing that would be interested in being a walker helps that along.

Walkers must attend a series of classes to help them learn how to act like one of the flesh-eating monsters so they don’t stand out in the crowd or become a distraction to the scenes they are working on.

It’s not really a glamorous job at all. Being a walker is a lot of time in makeup, long hours in the hot sun, and hundreds of takes to ensure that the scene is shot right. However, if that’s still something you’re interested in, be sure to take advantage of any TWD casting calls.
