The Walking Dead season 8 is getting closer and AMC announced a Talking Dead preview special that will give fans a new extended look at the 100th episode.

It won’t be long now until The Walking Dead returns for season 8. And just before the return of Fear The Walking Dead on September 10th fans will get a look at a new extended preview of The Walking Dead season 8 premiere.

Wrapping up The Walking Dead marathon of seasons 1-7 on September 10th will be a new Talking Dead special preview of The Walking Dead season 8. The guests who will be joining host Chris Hardwick to talk about the upcoming season are Scott Gimple, Lennie James, and Negan himself Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

During the special edition of Talking Dead a new extended promo of The Walking Dead season 8 premiere will air. And directly after the special Fear The Walking Dead returns for the second half of season 3.

The season premiere, which is the 100th episode of the show, will kick off the war between Negan and The Saviors and Rick and the other communities.

All Out War Is Almost Here

After the brutal deaths of Glenn and Abe in the season 7 premiere Rick and the other survivors had a rough season. But they got their first taste of victory against Negan in the season finale last year. For the first time Alexandria and the other communities banded together to fight back against Negan. Together they successfully drove Negan and The Saviors out of Alexandria.

Even after the betrayal by The Scavengers the survivors were able to win the day thanks to help from both The Kingdom and The Hilltop. But now Negan knows that the communities are going to stand together against him. And that means that he and The Saviors are preparing for All Out War.

Scott Gimple has promised that season 8 of The Walking Dead will have more action than season 7 as the communities fight it out to see what kind of society is going to rule the new world. And since the season premiere is also the landmark 100th episode of the show it’s safe to say that the season 8 premiere is going to be an intense episode.
