Emily Kinney’s ‘Ten Days in the Valley’ gets Premiere Date and Trailer

Emily Kinney’s new ABC series ‘Ten Days in the Valley’ has an official Premiere Date and a finely crafted trailer out in the wild. Are you ready Beth fans?
Emily Kinney has found new life after The Walking Dead recently on the ABC network. First on 2016’s Conviction and now on the upcoming Ten Days in the Valley. Kinney plays an active supporting role as Casey on the new drama series. ABC has officially announced the show is set to hit the airwaves Sundays starting October 1st.
Headlined by TNT’s ‘The Closer’ Kyra Sedgwick, who plays character Jane Sadler, the show focuses on the disappearance of Sadler’s daughter Ali. A single mother and overworked television producer, Sadler already had a full plate… When in the dark of the night her daughter mysteriously goes missing. Setting up the mystery for this cop driven tv series and the secrets lying in the ridges.
In the 4th wall breaking words of actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner who plays cop Matt Walker on the show, “It’s a cop show, I’m a cop”.

Emily Kinney appears to play Sadler’s assistant on Ten Days in the Valley. As Sadler states ‘everyone had a key to this house: my assistant’ which quickly pans on Kinney. The setup of the trailer makes it appear that anyone could be behind daughter Ali’s disappearance, with the more obvious ex-husband being a probable decoy rather than the true captor.

Beth Greene fans are in for a treat as Kinney’s range as an actress will be on display. The Walking Dead favorite will play Sadler’s ex-husband’s current mistress or muse depending on how you look at it.
Remarkably different than Kinney’s relatively sweet innocent nature as Beth. We’ll get to see Kinney in a whole new light rather than the altruistic farm girl persona as Beth.
“Jane doesn’t know about us right?”, Kinney’s character, Casey, asks the ex-husband before embracing in more than a friendly hug and kiss on the cheek.

Ten Days in the Valley is clearly going to be a series bridled with mystery and suspense. Who knows if ‘trusty’ assistant Casey has anything to do with Ali’s sudden exit from her mother’s home or is just the ex-husband’s unaware new flame? We’ll find out Sundays on ABC starting October 1st at 10/9 central time, when Emily Kinney returns!
