2. The Ranch Survivors Will End Up At The Dam

When Broke Jaw Ranch falls it seems inevitable that whoever is left standing will head to the dam. The dam is a relatively safe place. It has clean water, which is really important. And there is already an established community there. But while Madison and her family might be welcome at the dam the bigoted residents of the ranch will not be welcomed by Lola or her people. Lola also might not allow a large group of survivors to join the dam community so that their resources don’t get depleted.

Ofelia may choose to stay with Walker because at the time when Daniel almost died he and Ofelia were on the outs because of his past which she found out about. But now that Ofelia’s been out in the world and experienced the things she has experienced she probably will have a better understanding of why Daniel did the things he did. In this world Daniel’s violent past and impressive skills make him an asset.

It’s impossible to guess how many of the survivors will be left after the demise of Broke Jaw Ranch but it’s clear that the show is setting up the dam to be the next settlement of safety that the survivors run to.
