Disruptor Beam’s newest game The Walking Dead: March to War arrives today and we have a full review with all everything you need to know.

After what seems like an eternity, The Walking Dead: March to War mobile game is finally here. The mobile game launched August 31 and is available for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Undead Walking got a sneak peek at San Diego Comic Con in July and we were already excited, but now it’s available for everyone so we can share in the excitement. For those members of the TWD Family looking for something to keep them busy until Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead return, March to War is the perfect solution.

March to War will be particularly appealing to fans of The Walking Dead comics. The visuals have the same gritty feel of the comics and it features several of the characters we know and love. The goals of the game are simple: build your shelter, find supplies, recruit people to your community, fight Walkers, and, above all, survive.

“No one is safe in March To War, least of all those who think they are,” said Joey Lapegna,
Creative Director at Disruptor Beam. “Our goal, above all else, was to make March To War not
just play like a Walking Dead game, but to feel like one too – an approach we take with all of
Disruptor Beam’s games. Players will live and die by the alliances they keep, the enemies they
create and the uncertainties that lay between, forced to choose carefully between aiding or
destroying other players in their struggle to survive. Brace yourselves: It’s about to get bloody.”

Players will be able to navigate Washington D.C. and take control of real landmarks like the White House as well as familiar locations from the show like Alexandria, the Hilltop and the Sanctuary while unlocking characters like Rick and Negan as well as original characters whose own stories are as compelling as the characters we already know and love.

“Disruptor Beam has an impressive track-record of bringing beloved franchises to mobile in a
way that both respects and expands universes like The Walking Dead,” said Dan Murray,
President of Skybound Interactive. “It’s obvious the team has genuine love for these properties
and seeks to capture the essence of the IPs with which they work, just one of the reasons we
wanted to work with Disruptor Beam. They’ve delivered an authentic representation of the
comics on mobile devices with The Walking Dead: March To War. We’re thrilled that this new
game will feel very familiar to fans of The Walking Dead.”

From my standpoint as a non-hardcore gamer, March to War is very accessible to casual mobile game players as well as experienced gamers who enjoy a good story and attention to detail.
