Fear The Walking Dead, Children Of Wrath: Things To Note

1) This episode begins with a flashback, ironically enough, to the Season Two episode, “Wrath”. This is the second episode to do so, the first being the Season Two mid-season finale, “Shiva”.

2) Incidentally, both episodes starting with flashbacks have those flashbacks revolve around a member of the Salazar family. The one in “Shiva” revolved around Daniel’s entrance into his country’s war as a child.

3) Considering how Jeremiah and Ofelia made a point of not discussing it in “The Unveiling”, one might have gotten the impression that their first meeting might have gone far worse. Seeing it in its entirety in the flashback reveals the meeting to be much tamer than their silence on the matter implied.

4) Ofelia having a hallucination of Daniel is a funny coincidence, considering that the last time we saw Daniel in Season Two, he was having hallucinations of Griselda.

5) In another funny coincidence, during the hallucination, Ofelia forgives Daniel, the very thing he’s been looking for since he reappeared this season in “100”.
