Fear The Walking Dead, The Unveiling: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
7) Nick cutting his hair seems rather symbolic, similar to Rick shaving his beard in The Walking Dead Season Five episode, “Remember”.
8) While recounting the helicopter attack, Walker learns about Travis’s death from Alicia. His reaction is rather strange. Despite his apparent blood lust in regards to The Founders, Walker seems bothered to hear outsiders became collateral damage in his tribes’ conflict with Broke Jaw.
9) While discussing the deal Jake’s made, Jeremiah raises a good point: While Walker appears to accept the deal for water, he could easily use the threat of violence to demand more. As we’ve seen from Los Hermanos in Season Two, or The Saviors in The Walking Dead, such deals often end up reneged.
10) In sort of a “Shoe on the other foot” moment, Jeremiah finishes what he assumes Madison will say, calling Black Hat “savages”. This seems to be him judging her for judging his poor opinion of Walker’s tribe in “Burning In Water, Drowning In Flame”.
11) In a funny coincidence, peace could have, hypothetically, been brokered between Broke Jaw and Black Hat if they both had adequate water. Daniel, who’s looking for Ofelia (Who’s with Black Hat), has access to tons of water.
12) Jeremiah refers to the pre-apocalypse period as “a couple of months ago”. Has it really been two months since the outbreak started?
