MVP from Fear the Walking Dead episode 309: ‘Minotaur’
By Adam Carlson
Who was the Most Valuable Person from the season 3 midseason premiere of Fear The Walking Dead titled ‘Minotaur’ on Sunday, September 10, 2017?
Fear The Walking Dead didn’t waste any time once it returned for season 3. The survivors at the Broke Jaw Ranch got new neighbors when the people from the Black Hat Reservation moved on to the land and started sharing resources.
Sadly, the real trouble came in when it was revealed that the water was running out and Jeremiah Otto had no plan in place despite having a countdown to estimate when their source would run dry.
Combining that with hostility that still existed between the Black Hat and Broke Jaw Ranch, and tensions reached astronomical levels. But there was one man who rose above and did what needed to be done.
The MVP for Fear The Walking Dead episode 309 is Nick Clark!
Nick was put in the middle of too many situations not to be the MVP of this episode. As the man who killed Jeremiah Otto, he took responsibility for that action and even owned up to it in order to distract Troy Otto from becoming a one-man army against the Black Hat.
Not only that but he stood in the way of people attempting to control the water at the well, ensuring that the resource wouldn’t be controlled by just one person or group. This also led to the ‘army’ of the ranch looking up to him as their new leader after Troy was made an outcast.
Finally, Nick is the MVP because he took his lumps. Despite doing all these things, standing up for the people of the ranch, and putting his life on the line to save Troy, he ended up in a sweat box as a punishment and served that time with few complaints.
