Troy Otto and Nick Clark share an intense moment in the most talked about scene from season 3 episode 9 of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead titled ‘Minotaur’.

Fear The Walking Dead didn’t waste any time in developing intense situations on the Broke Jaw Ranch after returning from the season 3 midseason break. Tensions continued to rise between the people of the community and the Black Hat Reservation as resources dwindled.

Some people took the situation of the tribe moving in with the people of the ranch harder than others. Many felt hostile considering they were at each other’s throats a matter of days before the truce was reached, but the real boiling point came when guns got involved.

Here is the scene that has everyone talking from season 3 episode 9 titled ‘Minotaur’ as shared on the YouTube channel of AMC:

Troy Otto clearly had enough of living with Walker and the people from the Black Hat Reservation. With plenty of guns and ammunition, he opened fire and took residence in the Otto family home for protection.

But he wasn’t alone there. Joining him in the house was Nick Clark, who didn’t share the same kind of feelings toward the new residents on the ranch but was doing his best to keep the peace between the two groups.

The gunfight continued as Troy made his way to the roof. Nick followed him, trying to talk him out of the suicide mission he was currently on, but finally had to break out a truth bomb to stop him dead in his tracks.

Nick told Troy that he was the one who killed Jeremiah Otto. The camera slowly panned to Troy, who shifted the target of his aim from the door to the man who shot his father. With a blank stare on his face, Troy dropped his gun and surrendered his fight.
