Fear the Walking Dead 311 synopsis: ‘La Serpiente’

Fear the Walking Dead season 3 episode 11 brings a bunch of old friends together. Here’s your synopsis of “La Serpiente.”

The need for water is the driving motivation for Madison and Walker as they continue their quest for water on Fear the Walking Dead. With Strand in tow, Madison has decided that the dam is a much better long term solution for the ranch than just a truckful of water, but does she have any guarantee that she’ll get the water?

The official AMC synopsis of Fear the Walking Dead “La Serpiente” is as follows:

“Following the rekindling of an old friendship, a mission is launched to replenish the Ranch’s water supply by seeking the help of another community.”

With a water source potentially secure, what’s this business about another community? Who else lives nearby? And who else might they find upon visiting this new community? (Personally, I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Troy. He’s way too smart to get lost, and a lifetime of survivalist training makes him a dangerous person to be left to his own devices.)

There’s also the issue of the tense relationship between Walker’s people and the disgruntled residents of Broke Jaw Ranch. Things are already heated between the two groups, so what will happen with the introduction of a third group of people? Aside from the general mistrust between the two groups, much of the tension came with the news that water was scarce, so it’s possible that having access to a steady water supply could help ease the tension at the Ranch.

And when Daniel learns that Ofelia is indeed alive and well at the Ranch, will he return with Madison, Strand and Walker or will he remain at the dam with Lola and Efrain? We’ve already seen the dangers Lola faces after people started rioting over the water. Can she handle things on her own if Daniel leaves? We’ll find out….
