#2. Will Strand take the group to the dam?

Victor Strand always makes a big impression wherever he goes. People either completely love him or they really despise him, with very few individuals falling into the range where they simply tolerate him.

He made himself unwelcome at the bazaar just like he did when he was at the dam. His actions found him locked up in a cell until Daniel Salazar liberated it. But even then, Strand’s stories about Ofelia left him on Daniel’s list of people who are dead to him.

Still, Strand felt some sense of duty to Madison, who made that big trade with the gold coins to get his freedom from the people at the bazaar. Plus, he realized he could use this opportunity to show that he wasn’t completely lying about Ofelia.

In the end, Strand took Madison and Walker to the dam even though he didn’t want to. This move shows that he can be a team player when needed and will likely be welcomed to the Broke Jaw Ranch when he arrives because of his actions.
