It’s Sunday Funday for the cast of The Walking Dead
It’s Sunday Funday for the cast of The Walking Dead – past and present – as we find evidence of their weekend exploits on Instagram.
We all know that The Walking Dead has a lion’s share of the heavy material, so it’s no wonder that the cast tries to spend time off doing fun things. And since the cast gets along so well, they tend to spend their time off together.
Let’s take a look at the way some members of the TWD Family spent their Sunday Funday:
Our favorite guys from The Kingdom, as in King Ezekiel and Jerry, caught a football game together today.
Oh, and they brought The Mullet from the Sanctuary with them. That’s right, Khary Payton, Cooper Andrews and Josh McDermitt checked out the Falcons game today. Cooper Andrews said it perfectly: “The Kingdom stands with @atlantafalcons … and so does Eugene.”
Meanwhile, over in La La Land the 69th annual Emmy Awards were in full swing. As it turns out, Chris Hardwick gets around. Through the magic of television he was able to be in two places at once as he appeared at the Emmys and hosted Talking Dead. (I know, it was taped, but that doesn’t sound as TV-magicky)
Hardwick was also seated in the cool kids section with The Walking Dead’s resident bad guy Negan himself, along with Negan’s latest casualty Sasha.
Yep, that’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Star Trek: Discovery’s Sonequa Martin-Green sitting with Hardwick. Though The Walking Dead wasn’t nominated for any of the acting awards, it’s good to see the show well represented.

And by the way, Sonequa Martin-Green looked amazing on the Red Carpet in a stunning red dress!
