17 new photos released from The Walking Dead season 8

The Walking Dead season 8 is quickly approaching. Today EW released some exclusive new character photos showing some of the fans favorite characters ready for war.

The excitement for The Walking Dead season 8 is building every day as the October 22^nd season 8 premiere approaches. Today Entertainment Weekly released a lot of exclusive new photos from The Walking Dead season 8 showing many of the most beloved characters gearing up for All Out War.

Season 7 of The Walking Dead ended on a high note for the survivors despite some of the characters like Michonne being badly injured in the season 7 finale. The coalition of the communities managed to drive Negan and The Saviors out of Alexandria, upending Negan’s plans.

Now there’s no more secrecy and no more illusion of cooperation. The Hilltop, Alexandria and The Kingdom are in open rebellion against Negan and The Saviors. And both sides are ready to battle it out to see whether or not Negan can keep his tight rein on the other communities.

The photos released by EW show that both sides are taking their war preparations seriously. The two sides have already fought some pitched battles. But according to some of the cast members, fans are not prepared for the intensity of the war that’s about to start.

All Out War kicks off in just a few weeks when The Walking Dead returns for season 8 on October 22^nd. In the meantime fans can get a glimpse of their favorite characters as they prepare for war:

All Out War Is Here

Fans of the comic have been waiting for a long time for the TV show to reach the All Out War storyline. While the TV show may not follow the comic exactly it was a given when Negan killed Glenn and Abe that at some point Rick and the others were going to attempt to Negan down.

Now that Rick has an alliance with The Hilltop and with The Kingdom he has the fighters he needs to stand a chance against the well-equipped and well-trained Saviors. He also has Dwight. Negan still thinks that Dwight is a loyal Savior. So Dwight could be the key to the survivors successfully attacking The Sanctuary.
