“As Nick and Jake set out to handle a delicate situation, the Ranch prepares for a threat greater than any they’ve faced before.”

The official synopsis is interesting. How will Jake and Nick do as a team? And what is this great threat that they’re about to face?

Nick and Jake are as likely a team as Alicia and Troy. Both Alicia and Jake share their troublesome siblings in common, so the fact that Nick is going on a mission with Jake and not Alicia is telling. What will happen if Jake learns about his father’s actual fate?

Based on what we know about Broke Jaw Ranch, it has been there for a long time and the only claims to the land came from Walker’s people. If a new threat is rising, logic dictates that it’s not a threat that has been there for a long time. Oh no, this is something new. But what could it be?
