Ofelia appeared to have burned a bridge with the people of the Broke Jaw Ranch when she was let inside their community and betrayed their trust by putting anthrax into their coffee in order for the Black Hat to win the battle against them.

But that seems to be mostly forgotten by the people of the ranch. Instead, not only do the Black Hat still look to her for guidance, but she serves as a bridge between the Clark family and the new residents.

Alicia and Ofelia seem to be developing an interesting bond. During this week’s episode, they shared a couple of scenes together where Ofelia was often seen pushing Alicia to take more of a leadership role and showing her how to assert herself to get others to listen.

For a character who was mostly in the background or missing in action for much of season 3, Ofelia is starting to really come into her own and follow in her father’s shoes. It may not be much longer before she becomes a fan favorite on Fear The Walking Dead!
