Jon Bernthal will be on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this Thursday along with Wonder Woman Gal Gadot!

Good ole’ Shane Walsh is back as a guest on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, October 5th. Get hyped baby. Actor Jon Bernthal will be promoting his leading role on Netflix’s The Punisher and what he brings to the table to the storied character. None other than Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot will be joining him as a featured guest on Thursday’s episode. Clearly, we’re talking a star-studded can’t-miss episode for the ages.

The Walking Dead’s alumni are simply of the highest caliber always working on new projects, searching for greater heights long after their own character exits from the series. Jon Bernthal’s career has been absolutely soaring the last two years, with roles on major motion pictures like the critically acclaimed Baby Driver, Ben Affleck’s The Accountant, Netflix’s Daredevil (as Frank Castle), and much more. This is an acting career on the constant upturn, developing and evolving with every step. The sky’s the limit.

Jon Bernthal: A Light Night Talk Show Regular

Jon Bernthal is certainly no stranger to late night talk show television! Always having a surprise in store for the interview. Considering Jimmy Fallon occasionally like to play a propped game or two with his guests, like Slapjack (oversized prop hand slapping), we could be in line for a truly memorable episode.

Last time Bernthal was making the late night show rounds he stopped by on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Bernthal mentioned staying in character to play Frank Castle The Punisher.

‘Staying in isolation’ and not having ‘too much fun’. Bernthal discussed the acting process in fascinating detail. Particularly, that he wished he was one of those actors that went out to the bars the night before to just have a grand old time… However, he needs to understand and become Castle off-set in order to prepare to play Castle on-screen, so to speak.

He was quite proud of the fight scenes on the series, calling them movie-quality level.

Fun Fact: Jon Bernthal said his son preferred the Daredevil series to The Punisher.

Metallica’s legendary ‘One’ set the atmosphere and tone on The Punisher’s recent official trailer! This series is big time in every way getting Metallica on-board. We’re looking at a major Marvel show that’ll likely own staying power on the digital air for many a season.
