Rosita

In season 7 Rosita seemed to have a death wish after Negan killed Abe. She was determined to take Negan out even if it meant sacrificing her own life. But she made it through the season after Sasha ended up being the one to sacrifice herself trying to help Rick and the others and get justice for Abe.

Rosita has always been strong and capable. But when Abe broke up with her for Sasha it seemed to throw her off balance. Fans learned a little more about her character when she revealed to Sasha that she had always used relationships to better herself. She would learn what she could from the men she was with and then move on. But her relationship with Abe was different, which is probably why losing that relationship and then losing Abe hit her so hard.

Her reckless plans and refusal to work with the others to take Negan down ended up getting people killed. But she doesn’t seem to have any remorse for that. It will be interesting to see what is next for Rosita moving forward. Despite her apparent wish to die she’s still alive, and she’s going to have to make her peace with that and find a way to move forward. When talking about Rosita’s future Christian Serratos said:

"“I don’t think I’d want to see her in another relationship. I think she’s past that. I think we’ve seen her better as an individual. She thrives as an individual. Because basically her history is men. That is her history and that is how we met her on the show and that is what we learned about her from her past. And then we saw her little dalliance with Austin’s character, and I just feel like she’s done with the boys. She’s had the boys. I feel like she’s past that. So I’d love to see her to continue being this bad bitch.”"

We’d like to see that too. It would be fantastic if Rosita could get past this dark place she’s in and live up to her potential as a warrior.
