Enid

Enid seemed to finally find her place in season 7. From her appearance in season 5 through season 7 she seemed to struggle a little bit to find a solid space within Alexandria. She was a surly teen trying to make sense of the post-apocalypse world and still trying to process the loss of her parents.

She bonded with Glenn and then Maggie and could have spun out again after Glenn’s death. But she has embraced the role of caretaker and de facto little sister to Maggie. Right now she seems content living at The Hilltop with Maggie so she can keep an eye on her and help her. And Maggie is going to need her help when Baby Rhee is born.

But what will the future hold for Enid? Being able to learn from Maggie it seems like becoming a leader is probably in her future. And Katelyn Nacon agrees that Enid would be a powerful leader:

"“I want to see her become more of a leader, become more strong, because we’re already kind of seeing that develop, but I want it to actually happen. I want her to find her role because I feel like even throughout the past three seasons she’s found a home and stuff with Maggie, but I feel like she hasn’t really been able to find her role in this community and to work her part, and so I really want her to be able to find that. I want her to find some kind of leadership and strength and a certain role in the community.”"
