Fear The Walking Dead, This Land Is Your Land: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
13) Christine is the first person in either Walking Dead show affected by the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks.
14) This episode’s name comes from Alicia reminiscing about her and Nick singing “This Land Is Your Land” at Camp Big Cove.
15) Ofelia damaging her hearing by shooting in the vent shaft is the first acknowledgement of the issue in Fear The Walking Dead (Though, not the first time in the Walking Dead universe).
16) Christine’s death means everyone at the ranch (Except Troy, Nick, Ofelia, Alicia, Crazy Dog, Qaletaqa, and Madison) is now dead.
17) Nick covering for Troy directing the horde is the second time a member of the Clarks have done so. The first time being Madison covering up the fact Troy killed the Trimbols in “Red Dirt”.
18) With Alicia choosing to leave the group, her path (At least for now) seems to mirror Nick’s from Season Two; However, her reason for leaving much more closely mirror’s Chris’s reason for leaving Travis behind than Nick’s reason for leaving.
