#4. Are Nick’s drug problems in the past?

It’s been a while since Nick has looked into drugs. The man who stole a morphine drip from a dying man in season 1 has been working hard not to put himself in situations that would tempt him or get him back on the wagon.

When he was alone in a room with Ofelia, he saw the pain pills that Madison had gotten to keep her comfortable. Disappointingly, he was unable to resist the urge and took at least one of the pills from the baggie and swallowed it.

But it didn’t stop there. After that, Nick went completely off the wagon, drinking a lot of alcohol and slamming a brainstem. He even dragged Troy Otto into the drug-filled adventures, who usually was a sober individual.

Troy and Nick are going to stay behind at the bazaar and continue their escapades, which isn’t good for anyone involved if they continue to be so wild and giving in to their desires as well as peer pressure.
