#5. Will Ofelia and Daniel reunite?
A lot of fans have been waiting for a reunion between Ofelia and Daniel Salazar since the midseason finale of season 2. It looked as though viewers were finally going to get that touching moment…but it was not to be.

Ofelia held on for as long as possible after bitten and Madison did her best to keep her comfortable until Daniel arrived. She was able to stay awake right up until the point where the trucks from the dam pulled up.
While Daniel did get to see Ofelia’s body, but then she had passed away. Thinking this was some kind of cruel joke, he got very upset, even pointing his gun at Madison in frustration, anger, and sadness.
To tease something for so long and not give it to fans is brutal. It was like torture for many fans who were waiting for this moment, but it definitely wasn’t the way they hoped it would be. And now fans will have to forever imagine what that relationship would have been like if they really got to know each other.
