Fear The Walking Dead, El Matadero: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
13) Umm…what happened to Crazy Dog? After the group got to El Bazar, he seemed to just…disappear.
14) Am I the only person who finds it weird that Ofelia seemed to get a better death than Travis?
15) Daniel putting down Ofelia is the fifth time a character has had to put down a loved one in Fear The Walking Dead. The other four times were: Travis putting down Liza (In “The Good Man”), Seth Geary putting down his mother, Melissa (In “We All Fall Down”), Russell Brown putting down his wife, Martha (In “Burning In Water, Drowning In Flame”), and Troy putting down Jake (In “Brother’s Keeper”).
16) Interestingly, Alicia’s new friend calls the infected “Biters”. This the eighth term for the dead in Fear, though, not an entirely unique one, as it was Woodbury’s name for them in The Walking Dead.
17) If what we see when Nick is on adrenaline is any indication, he may have come to consider walking amongst the dead last season some form of high.
18) As Troy catches up to Nick in the horde, Nick says “I can’t go back with her.” Is he talking about Madison? Why?
19) With Ofelia’s death, of the group as it was at the end of the first season of Fear The Walking Dead, only five remain.
