The season finale of Fear the Walking Dead has arrived and we have a few thoughts about what could happen in episodes 315 and 316.

Now that the season finale of Fear the Walking Dead is here, it’s time to think about what we might see in the two-part finale. Will we be left with a cliffhanger? Will there be a resolution to issues before the season wraps up? Will people die?

(It’s Fear the Walking Dead, so of course there will be deaths)

But one thing stands out to me when I start thinking about predictions, and it’s that I don’t think the group will have shelter by the end of the episode. Allow me to explain.

The bazaar is like an accident waiting to happen. While it has made it this far, all it’s going to take is one Infected that pops up in the middle of the night, or a group of overzealous people who want to take over. It’s not going to last. There’s no way it can last. There are too many people packed in the space, and there are too many resources being held by a small group of people that a large number of people want.

That brings us to the dam. We know that the dam is facing an attack. In all likelihood the dam is facing an attack on multiple fronts from multiple groups. Strand’s Proctor John could be one of those threats, while we know that there are groups of people in the neighboring towns who want more access to the dam’s water. The dam is under a constant threat of attack and that means it will never be safe.

Madison seems to think (once again) that the dam is the answer. She also thought the same thing about the resort and Broke Jaw Ranch if you’re keeping track. Her kids don’t agree with her plans and both have gone off on their own to figure out whether better solutions exist.

My prediction for the season finale of Fear the Walking Dead is simple: The group won’t have a safe shelter by the end of the episode. The dam isn’t the answer and the bazaar won’t be available. Their only hope will be that Alicia’s plan – to follow Jake’s map – is a viable option.

What do you think? Will the group take shelter at the dam, or will things fall apart there?
