Who was the most valuable character from AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead season 3 episode 16 titled ‘Sleigh Ride’ on October 15, 2017?
The final episode of Fear The Walking Dead season 3 aired on Sunday, October 15, 2017 and fans should be more than concerned about the status of their favorite characters headed into season 4 of the popular AMC zombie drama series.
But one character went far beyond what needed to be done during season 3 episode 16 and deserves to be recognized as the most valuable person from the big and powerful finale.
After some tough consideration, one individual was chosen to be the MVP for ‘Sleigh Ride’. And that person is as follows:
The MVP from Fear The Walking Dead episode 316 is Nick Clark
NIck had a lot of recovering to do. Not only was he recovering from his drug-filled escapades with Troy Otto, but he had lied to Daniel Salazar’s face and kept secrets from his mother in previous episodes.
But quite a bit happened in this episode for Nick. He reached out to his mother to try to reconnect and understand why she is the way she is, and instead was met with hostility and got sworn at. For him, it was a big step in him trying to feel like a family again, even if Madison wasn’t ready for it.

Even after watching Madison kill Troy, he stayed loyal to his family. There was even hope shown in the Christmas fantasies, with Luciana and Nick giving Madison a baby, teasing that their relationship may not be over.
He showed his true colors even more by picking Strand’s pocket. Taking the detonator for the explosives, he bought enough time for the rest of his family to get away, while also forgiving Victor for selling out the group at the dam.
Stalling for time, managed to buy Madison, Alicia, and Strand enough time to get out of the danger zone of the explosion. Knowing that he was basically giving his life to save theirs, he was strong and brave standing there with The Proctors and finally flipping the switch.
And now fans will need to wait until next season to find out the fate of Nick Clark.
