Victor Strand and Daniel Salazar face off in the most talked about scene from season 3 episode 15 of Fear The Walking Dead titled ‘Things Bad Begun’.

Fear The Walking Dead aired two episodes on Sunday, October 15, 2017 for a big back-to-back season 3 finale event on AMC. The first of the episodes was titled ‘Things Bad Begun’ and featured a lot of drama at the dam.

One scene, in particular, featured an intense showdown between two main characters at a pivotal time where lies, deceit, manipulation, and firearms were involved and the fate of the survivors was on the line.

Here is the video of the showdown in a clip titled ‘I Admire You’ from the official YouTube channel of AMC:

Victor Strand has his gun drawn, threatening to shoot anyone if they redirect the water at the dam. However, the threats are not taken seriously by Daniel Salazar, who says that shooting people just isn’t who Strand is.

Strand reminds Daniel that they are not friends, but Daniel continues to advance and say that Victor is not a killer. He inches closer and closer to Strand and reminds him that he’s a con man, and killing someone while looking in their eyes isn’t him.

Daniel says he admires Victor but tells him to hand over the gun. When he doesn’t, Salazar makes a play for it and the two fight for control of the weapon. The barrel of the gun gets pointed at Daniel’s face, and the trigger is pulled.

Dropping to the ground, Daniel is motionless. Lola goes to check on him but is stopped by Strand. Eventually, Daniel gets up, revealing that the bullet traveled through the bottom of his jaw and out his cheek.
