AMC teases VR app with The Walking Dead season 8 bonus scene

The Walking Dead is launching a brand new virtual reality app and giving fans a bonus scene from season 8. Check out AMC VR in your app store today!

Fans of The Walking Dead can never get enough of the popular AMC zombie survival drama series. The franchise has made its way into everyday life, spawning two television shows, a comic book series, multiple video games, toys, board games, trading cards, and more, but now they are entering another realm.

Now, fans can enter the virtual reality world of their favorite AMC shows thanks to the AMC VR app, which was announced in a press release from AMC on their official website on Friday, October 19, 2017.

For fans of AMC’s zombie dramas, there is a great reason to download the AMC VR app. The press release details that there will be a bonus scene from The Walking Dead season 8 immediately following the premiere airing Sunday, October 22nd at 9 pm ET.

Other AMC programs will also have content, including the martial arts drama Into The Badlands and the motorcycle program Ride with Norman Reedus.

UPDATE: Seth Gilliam revealed on Twitter that the bonus scene will involve his character Father Gabriel and Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
