When the whole Walking Dead cast was asked about their biggest character regrets, ole’ Dwighty D had this to say:

Austin Amelio on Dwight’s Biggest Regret:

“I would have liked to do less popping out from behind trees, and shooting people like this guy *points to Norman Reedus*. I feel like maybe I could have come up and whispered something to him. It was a little intense, and I got the finger a lot after that episode. I’d dial it back a tad bit.”

It appears actor Austin Amelio was feeling more than a bit remorseful about Dwight’s initial actions to Norman Reedus’ Daryl Dixon. Just deadpan humor or a sign Dwight was being sincere last season about helping out Rick Grimes’ group? You can never be too certain on this show but Amelio seemed genuine about Dwight’s actions. Perhaps, Dwight would truly take back that indirect hit on Denise?

A character that Dwight had never met, and was simply an arrow meant for another person. That being Daryl. Amelio mentioned getting the finger a lot after the episode in which Dwight shoots Daryl. Did he mean on the show or from unforgiving fans and aspiring Mrs. Reeduses? Hard to say for sure!

Nevertheless, we have the impression Dwight will be turning into a full fledged member of Rick’s group this season as time goes by.
