The Good Stuff from 801

  1. Inspirational speeches. Between Rick, Ezekiel, and Maggie, there was plenty of inspiration to go around. Their speeches at the beginning of the episode brought everyone together even more and made the fight for their survival even more important.
  2. Trusting Dwight. The information that Dwight gave Rick’s group about the watchmen on the way to The Sanctuary was spot on and allowed their group to get a jump on The Saviors. Him proving his loyalty while going against Negan is huge for everyone and creating change for every community.
  3. Gregory siding with Negan. It wasn’t a surprise that he would switch sides. Gregory’s cowardice is well documented and also provides more conflict since it’s put the loyalty of some people at The Hilltop in question. Moments like that are great on this show!
  4. EXPLOSIONS! if you like vehicles exploding, this was a great episode for you. Cars and trucks flipped and blew up to not only eliminate walkers and alert The Saviors but kill some members of the Negan’s group as well. Always nice when stuff blows up!
  5. Carl leaving some canned food. It’s great to see Carl still having faith in humanity after seeing everything that happened in his past as well as what his father said. He’s really growing into being his own man, and it’s something fans should look forward to.
