#1. Is Rick okay?

Last time we saw Rick Grimes, he was not in good shape. The leader of Alexandria had been shot in the abdomen by Jadis, kicked off the top of a tower, forced to accept that his son was going to get his brains bashed in, and convinced that the woman he loves died.

Despite all the feelings of hope for the communities, there were plenty of reasons to be concerned about Rick Grimes when season 8 premiered on AMC, but it turns out those worries were completely unwarranted.

In fact, these incidents were mostly brushed under the rug in episode 801 and Rick looked as if he had never been wounded or traumatized in the first place. Instead, viewers got a focused and bloodthirsty leader looking for revenge.

So, is Rick okay? Physically, he seems fine. Emotionally, he may have some things he needs to work out before he can be the compassionate leader who is tough as nails once again.
