The good stuff from TWD 802

  1. Forming a plan before attacking. To this point, there has been a lot of impulsiveness and taunting, but taking a moment to evaluate the situation before jumping into an outpost proves to be a smart move.
  2. Eric is stepping up in a big way! So far, Eric hasn’t seen a lot of action while recovering from his leg injury and staying in Alexandria, but now that All-Out War is going on, he is fighting an inspired fight with Aaron having his back. Good to see!
  3. The showdown with Jesus and Tara. The standoff with one member of The Saviors was an intense one, where the question of whether or not to execute him came into question. It was a great scene with an intense conclusion!
  4. Some recognizable fatalities. So far, the war hadn’t resulted in any major deaths. having some familiar faces die in the war, even if they aren’t fan-favorites, gives more oomph to the war. And while it’s sad to say farewell to some actors, it really is for the best of the show.
  5. Morgan is a monster, but not blinded. They probably could have sent Morgan in there by himself and won the battle, but seeing him stop from killing Jared and the others means that he may not be as far to the extremes as may have been thought.
