15) Apparently, since Rick’s last visit to the radar station (In Season Six “Not Tomorrow Yet”), Negan has added a moat of walkers to the perimeter of the outpost.

16) Father Gabriel is the fourth (Behind Daryl, Eugene, and Sasha) member of Rick’s group to be captured by Negan.

17) The herd surrounding the temporary office(?) Father Gabriel and Negan are trapped in, as the camera looks down on it and pans up, is reminiscent of the last shot of “Days Gone Bye”, as Rick hid inside the tank in Atlanta.

18) This episode’s name comes from Rick’s words as he (Presumably) looks at Abraham and Glenn’s grave: “My mercy prevails over my wrath.”

19) Rick’s final words to the assembled militia are rather ironic, as, if we’re to assume the older version of him is from a flash forward, then, technically, they have already won.
