MVP from The Walking Dead episode 802 ‘The Damned’

The Walking Dead season 8 episode 2 was filled with action, but who was the most valuable person from the episode titled ‘The Damned’ on October 29, 2017?

AMC followed up an action-packed season 8 premiere of The Walking Dead with another episode that kept fans of the zombie survival drama series on the edge of their seats for the entire 60 minutes.

However, one character, in particular, went above and beyond the call of duty in season 8 episode 2 titled ‘The Damned’ and deserves recognition for their efforts as well as the title of being the most valuable person.

While it was a tough call, a decision has to be made. Our choice for MVP from episode 802 may be a controversial one, but there is no debating their importance.

The MVP from “The Damned” is Morgan Jones!

Much like last week, this was a difficult week to choose someone who had the biggest impact on the episode. But, while others all seemed to make big mistakes, Morgan leveled himself…and others.

First of all, Morgan was set on taking out The Saviors. While others worried about how the assault would go, he stayed focused and didn’t even concern himself with his own fate as the war raged on around him.

Even with being shot because of the hesitation of others, he rose from between two other bodies to fight again, massacring a huge number of Negan’s men who were left inside the outpost with no help from the others.

Afterwards, he reluctantly showed mercy on Jared and some of the other members of The Saviors at the request of Jesus. This showed that while Morgan is still in a killing mindset that he can control those urges, unlike when we saw him in previous episodes such as ‘Clear’.
