#4. Is everyone still buying Ezekiel’s act?

In season 7 of the show, Ezekiel and Carol had a nice chat about how he took on the personality of a king in order to keep the people in his community feeling safe there. At that time, Carol understood and the two shared a great moment.

Despite that, Carol once again questioned the motives of King Ezekiel. After the incident with the grenade, she called him out on his performance. Seemingly patient, he explained it all once again. This time, Carol didn’t seem as into it.

It’s not that she needed clarification that was the problem but calling him out on it while he was leading the people of The Kingdom is not cool. If others began to question his leadership, it could lead to major issues.

Thankfully, there doesn’t seem to be anyone else from The Kingdom who has an issue with Ezekiel being “the king”. Even though Carol is skeptical, keeping everyone on the same page is very important.
