A new clip from the next episode of The Walking Dead shows the scene fans have been waiting for as Gregory has to face Maggie after trying to sell out The Hilltop to Negan.

Finally! Gregory is going to have to face Maggie after trying to undermine her and force the residents of The Hilltop to bow to Negan and The Saviors. In this week’s new episode of The Walking Dead Gregory returns to The Hilltop and it doesn’t go well for him.

Den of Geek has an exclusive new clip of the scene and it’s magic. Gregory takes Gabriel’s car and drives back to The Hilltop after leaving Gabriel to die. Gabriel doesn’t die, but he does end up trapped with Negan which is probably going to end badly.

But Gregory finds out that it isn’t going to be so easy to return to The Hilltop after demanding that the residents abandon Maggie and agree to provide for The Saviors again. Gregory tries to squirm his way back into The Hilltop but Maggie Rhee is not having it. Try not to cheer when she tells Gregory to “shut your damn mouth.” Or just go ahead and cheer. It’s O.K.

Gregory tries to shift the blame to Kal, who has told Maggie the whole story of Gregory sneaking off to The Sanctuary to try and get The Saviors to help him get rid of her. Kal’s not having it either.

What Will Maggie Do With Gregory?

Gregory is a problem that Maggie really needs to deal with. Now he’s openly declared himself as loyal to The Saviors so there should be no place for him at The Hilltop. It isn’t likely that Maggie’s going to let him back in, unless he is held as a prisoner.

The people at The Hilltop don’t want Gregory. Neither do The Saviors, because there is nothing he can do for them. So Gregory is about to find himself with nowhere to go and no one to protect him. Since he’s incapable of protecting himself the future doesn’t look good for Gregory. And it couldn’t happen to a more deserving snake.

But would Maggie order Gregory’s execution for treason? She’s angry with Gregory but is she angry enough to sanction his murder? That doesn’t seem like something Maggie would be capable of. But she’s a leader now and she has a responsibility to keep the people of The Hilltop safe, as well as Baby Rhee. Will she kill Gregory to protect her people?

Find out this Sunday on the new episode of The Walking Dead, “Monsters”.
