1) Considering their failure to respond to Mara, and the fact this outpost is the one Rick and Daryl are leading the assault on, it seems likely that “Little Roy” and “J-Top” may have been the scouts Rick and Daryl killed in “Mercy”.

2) Morgan telling Andy and Freddie that he doesn’t die seems like a callback to the conversation he had with Rick way back in Season Three’s “Clear”. During that conversation, Morgan explained his belief that the good people and the bad people always die, but the “weak people”, people like him (As he put it) do not, and “inherit the Earth”. It’s also similar to Nick Clark saying he won’t die going out to retrieve Travis in the Fear The Walking Dead Season Two midseason finale, “Shiva”.

3) This episode gets its name from Ezekiel’s warning to Carol and the rest of his team as the walkers approached: “The damned are upon us!”

4) Incidentally, “The Damned” is, approximately, the eighteenth unique name for the undead in The Walking Dead.

5) Just before finding Dean, Tara finds the words “Tomm says kill the bitches” scrawled on the kitchen wall. What is this in reference to? The Saviors clearly didn’t know the attack was coming, sooo…what is it? Did they find Oceanside?
