The interesting stuff from TWD 804

  1. The aftermath of the Browning fire. Wow. Seeing all the limbs torn off and massive holes in people was an amazing special effects job and actually got very disgusting. Major props to go Greg Nicotero and the team that made all of this happen!
  2. TWD Rewards! This week’s code “SURVIVORS” is worth 300 points! While the autographed posters are sold out, there are still plenty of great options available. And who knows, maybe they will restock autographs sometime in the future.
  3. Mountain Dew walkers. I don’t get the appeal of that app. While seeing all the walkers is a bit of a trip down memory lane, I don’t know anyone who collects them in the app. I mean, it’s probably great for a small amount of the TWD audience, but does it appeal to the masses?
  4. The ZzzQuil commercial is still amazing. Last week, I laughed about this commercial and loved the tie-in with The Walking Dead. This week, it was still just as cool and fun, and I kind of hope to see it during every episode this season.
  5. The Red Machete. I’m still pretty drawn in by this series of shorts. Mandy’s machete is something I’m interested in learning about, especially since we may actually get to see it tie-in with its origins on the show.
