Cool Dudes

Carol is trapped and she’s all alone…except for the Walkers heading inside. Dahmer pauses and asks if Ezekiel had someone alive inside. Ezekiel makes a break for it but fails. Dahmer uses blood to paint Ezekiel’s face. “Delusions of grandeur,” he says, pulling him back to his feet.

Carol gets back up but the bullets keep flying.

Dahmer realizes the gates are locked and Ezekiel says the dead are coming so he wants to fight them. Dahmer tells him that Negan wanted him alive, but while he’s distracted Jerry comes up and chops him in half.

Carol devises a plan. She slides her gun out from under the car and tells the Saviors she can tell them where the others are. She comes out, nice and slow, and she turns to show them she’s unarmed.

Jerry helps the king to his feet. Jerry borrows the king’s sword and kills the Walkers, then returns it. Ezekiel says he doesn’t have to come him “Majesty” anymore, but Jerry says he does.

They want to know where Carol’s people are. She says to promise not to tell where they are. She takes one of the Saviors prisoner and then opens the gate, letting the Walkers in.

Jerry tries to break the fence and manages to break his ax instead. He tells Ezekiel to get behind him, but Ezekiel says they fight together.

While the Saviors are distracted, Carol slips out.

Jerry and Ezekiel fight. Jerry thanks the King for being a cool dude.

Carol has the Saviors on the run, all but the last two. She tells them they need to end this. She admits to lying about her friends. They tell her to walk away, but she’s not leaving without the guns. She knows they are out of ammo. In the distance she sees Jerry and Ezekiel getting overwhelmed at the gate and gets distracted.
