6) In another departure from the comics, Richard doesn’t die in this battle, because, obviously, he’s been dead for some time.

7) Someone who does die, however, is Alvaro, who makes the sixth (named) member of The Alliance to die.

8) Incidentally, the area where the knights fell looks a lot like the area where The Kingdom gathered the pigs in Season Seven’s “The Well”. Whether this was intentional or simply a coincidence of filming in the same locales (Like the quarry or the highway, for example) is unknown.

9) Gunther’s assessment of Ezekiel is a surprisingly accurate (Albeit extremely cynical) one.

10) It’s rather humorous that Gunther says the knights “ate [Ezekiel’s] horseshit right up!” considering he so eagerly buys into Negan’s propaganda, repeating the “I am Negan” mantra when Ezekiel asks if Negan even knows his name.

11) Gunther asks Ezekiel “Take away that tiger, what’s left?” That is some eclipse-level foreshadowing there, my friends.
