12) Gunther explains that, in lieu of bringing Ezekiel back to be chained to The Sanctuary’s fence, he’ll have to settle for putting his head on a pike. Hmm…

13) With Rick and Daryl having caught up to Yago so quickly, that most likely means that the outpost he and his associate were fleeing was, in fact, Gavin’s outpost, as Rick and Daryl were already heading there.

14) Are the walkers Yago tries to avoid on the road leftovers from the ones that attacked the Savior POWs during “Monsters”?

15) Daryl telling Rick he “looks like shit” after the truck crash is reminiscent of him telling Carol she looked ridiculous in Season Five’s “Remember”.

16) This episode’s name comes from Ezekiel’s breakdown as he, Carol, and Jerry are trying to escape the melting walkers, saying “I ain’t no king…I’m just some guy“. P.S.: I’m christening the melting walkers “melters”.

17) Shiva is the seventh (named) member of The Alliance to die.
