Rick gets in his jeep while Daryl rides up on the bike. He repeats that there’s a plan to see through. Daryl says they have to win. Rick has to walk to his next target while Daryl rides off.

Negan says they have the gun and Lucille and they should use them. If they make it inside, they will live. Negan pulls a Walker inside and says that he doesn’t want to kill Gabriel, he wants him to work with him. Gabriel says he killed before but that wasn’t his biggest sin. He tells Negan about locking his congregation outside when this started and he failed them so he works to lessen the failure and serve a purpose. He offers Negan a pardon. He will work with Negan to prove there is a way to work together. He wants Negan to confess. Negan says that what he did was spineless. But that’s what confessions are. Negan closes his eyes and says his first wife was real, his only real wife until death did they part. Before this happened. He lied and cheated on her. She was sick, and when she died it was during this mayhem. He couldn’t kill her as a Walker and that’s why he was weak. That’s his confession because they might die. Gabriel opens the door and gives him the gun, saying he’s forgiven. Negan punches him and tells him to keep the gun. Negan says they need to take the dead blood and guts ad Gabriel says he has done this before. They start spreading the guts all over.
