#2. Is Negan going to kill Gabriel in the trailer?

Being trapped inside a trailer with the leader of The Saviors is a scary situation. Even if you are a man of faith, there has to be a voice in your head that makes you need your pooping pants in those kinds of situations.

The first thought was that someone was going to die. Since Father Gabriel doesn’t really have a killer instinct, he wanted Negan to confess his sins in order to learn more about why he is the way he is and has done so many awful things.

Somewhat surprisingly, Negan played along. They talked about their shortcomings, their histories, and what helped make them what they are. And heck, Negan even brushed off an attempt on his life to team up with Gabriel to escape the trailer.

Once outside among the walkers and covered in guts, Negan saved the life of Gabriel a couple more times, proving that he’s not a horrible guy when he doesn’t have to be and forcing Gabriel to look at the leader of The Saviors in an all-new way.
