Big TWD Announcement: XX is crossing over to XX (Spoilers!)
The crossover has been revealed and it’s official: Lennie James’ Morgan will crossover from The Walking Dead to Fear the Walking Dead.
Start putting together your best theories because we officially know that Morgan will be leaving The Walking Dead to join the cast of Fear the Walking Dead when it returns for its fourth season.
Lennie James has been there for The Walking Dead since the beginning. His Morgan was the one who brought Rick up to speed after he woke up from the coma in the first episode. Now we’ll have Morgan’s point of view as he meets the characters of Fear the Walking Dead as they make the big move from Mexico to Texas.
The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead executive producer Scott M. Gimple sent his remarks to Talking Dead assuring fans that there is plenty more of Morgan in The Walking Dead throughout season 8. They will be sure to wrap up his story before he transitions over to Fear.
Most fans believed that Abraham or Rosita would be the natural fit for Fear the Walking Dead since both traveled to Alexandria from Texas. Morgan is definitely a wildcard, but he’ll be a welcome addition to the cast for sure.
Since we know next to nothing about how this crossover plays into the timeline, it’s important to note that no one has said that James is done with The Walking Dead permanently even though he indicated on Talking Dead that he’d already said goodbye to the cast and crew.
