Danay García to be on Hawaii Five-0 episode tonight on CBS

Fear the Walking Dead actress Danay García will guest star on a Hawaii Five-0 episode tonight on CBS at 9 p.m Eastern / 8 p.m. Central time.

Fear the Walking Dead’s Luciana, Danay García, is breaking out of her zombie ‘comfort’ zone tonight and heading off to Hawaii Five-0. García will be playing character Elena Sachs on an episode titled “He Kaha Lu’u Ke Ala, Mai Ho’okolo Aku”, the eighth episode of Hawaii Five-0’s eighth season. The famous CBS franchise was first rebooted again in 2010, after the original saw lengthy life from 1968 to 1980. A successful reboot, the series has seen 175 episodes to date and was renewed for another season last September.

Danay García’s acting milestone year

It’s been a busy year for Ms. Luciana Galvez, appearing in three films [Avenge the Crows: The Legend of Loca, Sniper Ultimate Kill, and Havana, Habana], outside of her role on Fear the Walking Dead. García last appeared on our TV screens on Fear the Walking Dead’s season 3 finale episode “Sleigh Ride”.

During a dream sequence experienced by Madison Clark, Luciana tended to what appeared to be a child she had with co-protagonist Nick Clark. This moment, of course, led to questions of when García might reappear on the series in a recurring capacity again. The only previous time we can remember a dream sequence for a Walking Dead character foreshadowing their return is Merle Dixon. One thing’s for certain, the Cuban-born beauty is keeping herself busy while her Fear the Walking Dead future is determined in the writing room.

Hawaii Five-0 is an iconic series, the type of show any actor/actress would love to attach their name to. We’ll see if García’s role tonight as Elena Sachs will be a one time affair or a recurring spot on the show.
