#3. What happened to Father Gabriel?

Last time we saw Gabriel Stokes, he had just escaped a trailer with Negan while the two of them were covered in walker’s guts and was locked up in a cell much like Daryl and Sasha were in earlier episodes of the show.

When Eugene went to check on Gabriel and bring him some bedding, he discovered that Gabriel was very ill. Covered in sweat, shivering, and looking very ill, Gabriel was brought to Dr. Carson to be evaluated.

Thankfully, Gabriel wasn’t bitten and nothing was immediately fatal. Still, Dr. Carson lacked the medications needed to treat him immediately and instead looked toward other means of keeping him well.

For now, Gabriel is in pretty good shape. He’s got a medical professional working on him, but he is in danger of his organs failing on him. Hopefully, Dr. Carson can get him all fixed up as soon as possible and he can return to Alexandria.
