Ride with Norman Reedus has earned a nomination at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards. See what the Norman Reedus travel show has been nominated for!

It’s one part travel show, one part motorcycle enthusiast show, one part food show and a whole lot of Norman Reedus thrown in. That’s AMC’s Ride with Norman Reedus in a nutshell, but it’s a great nutshell to watch and the critics agree. That’s why the Norman Reedus spinoff has received a nomination for the 23rd annual Critics’ Choice Awards.

Ride with Norman Reedus has been nominated for Best Unstructured Reality Series. Ride will compete with Born This Way (A&E), Ice Road Truckers (History), Intervention (A&E), Live PD (A&E) and Teen Mom (MTV).

AMC’s Ride follows The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus as he travels around the country and the world with his friends, stopping along his rides to sample cuisine and check out the local hotspots. In the season 2 premiere with guest Jeffrey Dean Morgan, The Walking Dead duo sampled the best of Spain’s cuisine while drinking a lot of coffee.

Given that Ride takes place all over the country and the world, and is always changing, it’s a perfect fit for the Critics’ Choice “Unstructured Reality” series. All of the reality series on the list of nominees follow new people or take place in different locations in each episode.
