In a new clip from AMC, there’s tension in the air between Tara and Rosita in the midseason finale of The Walking Dead which airs December 10.

For a while on The Walking Dead, Tara and Rosita seemed to be on the same revenge train, but the trains have gone in separate directions in this new clip from Entertainment Weekly.

While both women have good reasons for killing Negan and the Saviors, they have taken decidedly different approaches. Tara and Daryl are both hell bent on revenge and don’t care what gets in their way. Daryl is gunning for Negan, of course, while Tara wants to kill Dwight for killing Denise.

Rosita, on the other hand, ended up shooting her one bullet at Negan. The bullet was lodged in Lucille, but that set off a chain of events that saw Arat kill Olivia and Negan capture Eugene, who is now working for Negan.

Take a look at the clip from the thrilling extended midseason finale here.

As you can see, after Tara and Daryl went off and crashed the dump truck into the Sanctuary, they thought they landed a fatal blow to the Saviors. What they don’t know is that what they did helped the Saviors by luring the Walkers out of the way. Rosita and Michonne worried about deviating from the plan but Daryl and Tara were determined to go their own way. Clearly there is some lingering tension there but you can bet this will boil over when they learn that Negan is on his way thanks to Daryl and Tara’s little plan.
