In a newly released promo teaser for Sunday’s extended midseason finale of The Walking Dead, Rick’s group learns what we already know.

The Walking Dead’s season 8 midseason finale looms large and there is a ton of hype surrounding the big December 10 event. With the release of a new promotional teaser, Michonne and the gang learn what we already knew:

“They got out.”

Yeah. We know already.

Take a look at the promo for yourself:

I’m not going to be too hard on Daryl, but this is what happens when you deviate from the well crafted plan that has been going along pretty well so far. After crashing a truck into the Sanctuary, Daryl and Tara gave the Saviors a way out, instead of finishing them off once and for all.

This is where the action will pick up in Sunday’s midseason finale. As we know, something huge is going to happen and this time it looks like it’s the real deal and we will be shocked by it. Even the spoiler sites aren’t spoiling it, which makes every member of the TWD Family even more excited to learn what happens.

With the plan seemingly in ruins, the gang will be forced to improvise now that they don’t know where all of the Saviors are. It doesn’t help, certainly, that there is a whole group of Saviors locked up at the Hilltop waiting to be liberated, or at least until someone isn’t paying close attention.

The midseason finale of The Walking Dead is Sunday, December 10 at 9pm on AMC, and Talking Dead will follow immediately upon its conclusion.
